VFM Leonardo is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to join our growing team.
Job Description:
As Product Manager you will be directly responsible for the ideation, development, launch and marketing of new products and features for our online merchandising system, including cross-device media players, channel Apps, and analytics. You will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to deliver winning products.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify market opportunities and work closely with key stakeholders from other business units to define product vision and strategy and develop and manage the product development roadmap
- Work closely with our customers and internal teams to identify new products and enhancements to existing products and transition ideas through requirements to product launch
- Define requirements in the form of user stories. And work with PMO to define MRDs, PRDs with prioritized features
- Lead the User Experience team to build products that are useful, functional and beautiful
- Lead the User Experience team to define intuitive and easy-to-use user interfaces and process flows as wireframes and mock-ups
- Initiate and prioritize projects within the PMO and engineering, assist in determining the best technical implementation methods, track product development, and develop product launch plans
- Manage beta test and pilot programs with early stage products
- Report on product results, including: usage, costs, revenues and contribution
- Research the competitive landscape and analyze product usage among existing and prospective customers and be the "go-to" person for information on the product, target market and product competitors
- Support “Training the trainer” and other education programs for internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, etc.) to ramp up on new product launches
- Support external training and feature adoption with our channels and chain customer base
Qualifications:
- You are an experienced product manager with a track record of creating innovative and winning Internet or software solutions
- You are familiar with and have experience with User Centered Design Methods in the software development lifecycle process
- You have strong self-motivation, excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to get things done in a small organization
- You have excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
- You take pride in your ability to simplify complex requirements and present them to engineers and managers alike in a visual, easy-to-understand way
- You've held a product management or product strategy role in a consumer internet or e-commerce company
- You're familiar with the internet advertising landscape and passionate about great customer-facing features
